Hello world!

The Greek Roots Editorial Team researches and writes practical guides for people tracing their Greek ancestry. We cover Greek civil and church records, municipal registers, immigration and passenger records, surname and naming traditions, DNA testing, and the steps toward Greek citizenship by descent. Our goal is to help you find your ancestral village and understand the records you’ll find there.
